Sandra graduated from the University of Miami where she majored in Radio/TV/Film (now known as the Communications Department) and minored in Drama. For 3 years she was cast in the role of tragic heroine in the department’s weekly radio drama, Theatre X. These love stories often ended badly for her characters. But Sandra credits those programs as having set her on the course of no return, to an eventual career focused on romance and fantasy.
Her employment as a copy and promotion writer for rock ‘n roll radio stations in the Miami and Los Angeles areas prepared her for the discipline of novel writing.
Sandra’s most rewarding work followed as a writer/producer/host for a Miami PBS television station. She produced public affairs series, how-to shows and programs addressing womens’ issues – meeting many inspiring women who later became models for her heroines.
In Sandra’s leisure time she enjoys her family, traveling, reading and dancing. The eternal optimist – in the face of all evidence to the contrary – she appreciates each day and looks forward to life’s surprises.
